Akademia Ruchu (Academy of Movement ) is more than just a dance school. It is a place for everyone who is tired of dancing in front of the mirror or tired of doing aerobics in front of the TV. This school will make you hooked on movement. It is a place established out of love for dance, for people who are united by a common passion. It is an alternative for the mundane offerings of fitness clubs or gyms!

Here you will detach yourselves from everyday reality; you will sweat your stress out, put your bursting energy to use and unwind after a exhausting day. In Akademia Ruchu, in a relaxing atmosphere, sitting on comfortable sofas whilst sipping aromatic coffee you will meet people who share your interests all under the supervision of swirling “fat ladies” from Botero’s posters. Glazed doors will allow you to take a peek at the courses that are in progress, thus facilitate your choice and encouraging the hesitant.

The founders of Akademia Ruchu, Beata Darowska and Beata Rękas, met seven years ago on funky jazz classes. They both felt that Wrocław lacked places were one could dance recreationally but under the supervision of an instructor. They decided to create a place for themselves and people who love to dance. They still actively participate in the classes featured by their school.

We invite you to take part in active leisure. We have 3 training rooms with mirrors and a professional sound system, a massage parlour and locker rooms with showers.

We carefully selected our teaching staff, making high qualifications and versatile methodical expertise our priority. Our instructors know how to pass on their knowledge and incite enthusiasm and passion. We also offer individual courses.

Our staff will assist you in selecting a course and, if need be, in finding a dance partner.
